  • Granulocytic differentiation is based on the presence or absence of cytoplasmic eosinophilic granules in haematoxylin and eosin stained preparations.

  • Case 3 initially had no marker of granulocytic sarcoma but 3 months after initial presentation developed systemic manifestations of AML.
