COVER: Immunohistochemistry with Anti-VEGF antibodies shows expression of VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) in a large drusen with calcified bodies in an age-related maculopathy (ARM) macula. This was the only drusen in the series of ARM maculae that showed positive immunoreactivity for VEGF, whereas basal laminar deposit stained positive in 50% of cases. Original magnification X 400. (From Kliffen et al, this issue, p. 154.)
