Steroid management in giant cell arteritis

Table 3

Using 15 mg/kg/day (1000 mg/day for a 70 kg person) as an arbitrary reference demonstrates that higher doses of intravenous steroids do not appear to be more effective in stabilising and restoring vision.(p value=0.66 by χ2analysis)
