Management of age related macular degeneration: still room for improvement

      The aim of Mitchell et al‘s study1 in collaboration with the Macular Disease Society (MDS) was to assess the perceived quality of health care of people with macular disease in the United Kingdom. The study was performed in 1999 and took the form of a retrospective audit by postal survey of 2000 members of the MDS.
