We read with interest the letter of Dr J Colin with regard to their observations on dendritic ulcerations of conjunctiva. We are grateful to the authors for directing our attention to the earlier published report.

Dendritic herpetic ulceration of the conjunctiva
Submit responseDear Editor
I read with interest the article entitled "Conjunctival dendrite in a case of primary herpes simplex infection", (U Sridhar et al.[1] This is a very interesting and helpful clinical observation. The authors state that "appearance of a dendritic ulcer on the conjunctiva, to the best of our knowledge, has not been reported".
We have previously published "Three cases of dendritic herpetic ulcerations of the conjunctiva",[2] I would like to give that information to your readers.
