Tamponade efficiency of perfluorohexyloctane and silicone oil solutions in a model eye chamber

Table 2

Level of significance when one agent was tested against another using multiple linear regression to find the best fit for a number of parallel lines to the data

F6H8 A B C
The equation for best fit for the F6H8 plot is given as: height = (slope × volume − F6H8) + intercept.
Similar equation for each of the solutions A, B, and C were found and as the lines are parallel, the slopes are the same, but the intercepts are different. SPSS output gives 95% confidence intervals for difference between the intercepts for F6H8 and each of the solutions and the p value for this difference.
F6H8 p<0.0001 p<0.0001 p<0.0001
A p<0.0001 p<0.0001
B p<0.0001 p<0.0001 p = 0.7
C p<0.0001 p<0.0001 p = 0.7
