    Abstract

A 66-year old man complained of recurrent transient monocular visual loss in his left eye during the climax of sexual intercourse. A complete carotid stenosis was found on the contralateral side and 50% on the ipsilateral side. Treatment with enalapril, antithrombotics and statin resulted in complete resolution of the visual symptoms.
