We do appreciate the positive comments about our paper on keratopigmentation techniques1 addressed by doctors Tello and Galvis. Following our study, we confirm that the use of femtosecond lasers provides a new dimension to this technique both for cosmetic and functional purposes.1–3 The micronised mineral pigments that we are using for our experiences are still not commercial. They are based on the customised creation of these pigments and its toxicity in the experimental animal model has been done …
