  • Snellen visual acuity was recorded for the right eye in patients without uveitis or with bilateral uveitis, or the affected eye in patients with unilateral uveitis, and converted to logMAR units.11 12

  • Intraocular pressure (IOP) was recorded for the right eye in patients without uveitis or with bilateral uveitis, or the affected eye in patients with unilateral uveitis. For patients without uveitis, the least IOP measurement while on cidofovir therapy was used.
