↵The following dosages were used: 1 clarithromycin, 2 × 250 mg/day for 2 weeks; 2 ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, 2 × 250 mg/day for 2 weeks; 3 doxycycline, loading dose of 2 × 100 mg first day, followed by 1 × 100 mg/day for 4 weeks; and rifampicin, 1 × 600 mg/day for 4 weeks.
