In the April 2000 issue of theBJO there was a subediting error in Table 1 (p 433) of the paper by Frost and Sparrow (2000;84:432–4). The word “operated” should have been removed from lines 4 and 7 in the body of the table. We apologise to the authors and readers for this error.
