We read with interest the recent article by Murphy, et al*. The authors report a six-fold increase in the use of glaucoma drainage devices (GDDs) between 2003 and 2012. They also note that non-penetrating glaucoma surgery (NPGS) and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) were not analyzed due to the small numbers being undertaken.
