In lacrimal surgery, monocanalicular or monocanaliculonasal intubation is an indispensable tool, but silicone probe placement often proves difficult in complex situations. LacriJet (FCI S. A. S.—France Chirurgie Instrumentation, Paris, France, compare figure 1) represents a novel preloaded monocanalicular nasolacrimal intubation system reducing the number of surgical steps (compare figure 2), which may be beneficial, especially in complex situations.
