  • These cases represented 6.1% of all childhood cancers under age 5 years, and 4.13% of all childhood cancers under age 10 years. Most cases (98.8%) were reported by the hospitals, and histopathological confirmation was available in 89.7% of cases. The cases were almost equally distributed between males and females (males = 323 (49.1%), females = 335 (50.9%)). Most cases (73.4%) occurred in the Caucasian population (table 2).
