  • BDI score interpretation: ‘not depressed’ (0–9 points), ‘minimal depressive mood’ (10–18 points), and ‘clinically relevant depressive mood’ (19–63 points). ZMS score interpretation: ‘euphoric’ (0–6 points), ‘well-balanced ‘(7–16 points), ‘aggrieved’ (17–26 points), ‘mildly to moderately depressive’ (27–41 points), ‘pronounced to extremely depressive’ (42–56 points). Concerning the SF-8, healthy persons should reach a mean score of 50±10. A higher/lower score indicates a better/worse level of functioning or general health.
