  • *Patients with at least three risk factors for growth (from the following: lesion thickness >2 mm, presence of subretinal fluid, presence of lipofuscin, related symptoms or margin to optic disc ≤3 mm).7 Presence of lipofuscin was considered a prerequisite, to differentiate cases of early choroidal melanoma from leaking naevi.
