Study of 141 eyes, 30 months after ECCE (35.5%) and after phacoemulsification (64.5%), by a two-handed posterior chamber technic. After 24 months and with IOL, the incidence was 10% with phacoemulsification and 22% with ECCE. This difference was not significative (Pearson's chi 2).
