This standard, approved by the International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (ISCEV), describes simple technical procedures that will allow reproducible and comparable electro-oculograms to be recorded under a few defined conditions. The document is intended to improve the comparability of electro-oculographic data obtained throughout the world by guiding both clinicians and manufacturers, and the ISCEV recommends that future published reports indicate whether the recording technique meets the international standard.
